Brings renewable energy to the city Adelanto for Major energy savings.
One of the harsh realities I inherited was a 6.5 Million dollars negative structural deficit in our General fund and 10+ audits that past administrations did not complete. Such a significant financial issue naturally put many of my projects and ideas on hold. So we quickly found a way to bring some help to our general fund, embraced the Renewable energy industry, and offset all of our city’s properties with solar. This move will save our general fund over 15 Million in the next 20 years.
I am very excited about what we have been able to accomplish already, but there is still a lot more work to be done. For us to continue moving forward as a city, we need support from our residents and businesses. We want to encourage business growth within our city limits so that we can all benefit from increased job opportunities and additional tax revenue. We also want residents to feel comfortable building homes here, knowing they will have access to reliable services such as water, electricity, internet, or cable television when needed — especially if they choose to live off-grid with solar panels or batteries connected directly to the grid system.
We are always welcoming new businesses with open arms here in Adelanto!
